Sixty pages, five columns: date, substance, in, out, disposal ref. A stock movement with no disposal reference against it is a gap in a chain somebody will eventually ask you to close.
Twenty-nine notes pages close out the book, ruled college at twenty-four lines a page, room for what a safety data sheet actually said, why a batch was quarantined, who the disposal contractor was and what they took.
It does not print your storage limits or how a substance is meant to be disposed of. Those come from the safety data sheet for that substance and the regulation your site disposes under, and both differ substance to substance and jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Record the movement in the five columns; the rule that governs it lives elsewhere, on paper you control.

Questions
What are the five columns?
Date, substance, in, out, disposal ref.
How big is it?
A5, 148 x 210 mm, 100 pages, 5.72 mm across the spine.
Is it dated?
No. Start it the day the store opens.
Does it print my storage limits or disposal method?
No, and that is deliberate. Those come from the safety data sheet for each substance and the regulation you dispose under, and both differ substance to substance. The columns give you a place to record the movement, not the limit.
What ruling are the notes pages?
College, 7.14 mm, twenty-four lines to an A5 page.
What does the disposal ref column hold?
Whatever ticket, manifest or docket number your disposal contractor issues, so a stock movement can be traced through to the record that closed it.
Nothing was given me of which I have not rendered some account.
