Change History for Hibrkraft.com
This site was rebuilt from scratch, and some addresses and pages changed along the way. If you have opened a page here before and found something different, this page explains what changed and why — including several things we corrected after getting them wrong.
- Product data errors in search fixed. Google Search Console was reporting 160 “Product snippet” errors on this site. Traced, they turned out not to come from any of our 173 product pages — those were all correct — but from a single empty product record embedded in the code of every page. Replaced with price data actually measured from the catalogue.
- Google Fonts removed. The Lato and PT Serif faces used across the site are now served from our own server (16 files, 157 KB in total) rather than fetched from Google. Every page view now makes zero third-party requests for type — it was three per page before.
- 71 old addresses given automatic redirects. Old URLs representing 473 clicks and 60,824 search impressions now point automatically at their replacements. Every redirect was checked one by one against the real server rather than guessed, so that none of them ends on an empty page.
- The site’s security certificate (HTTPS) fixed. Before this date HTTPS was not working properly. Now http:// addresses are redirected automatically to https://, and www. is redirected to the main address without it.
- The business address shown on pages unified. Four different place names could appear depending on which page you opened, including one old name no longer relevant. Now one form appears everywhere: Bogor, Indonesia.
- The UDUNAN 2020 event award restored. We had removed this from the company data because we could not find a public winners’ list for the programme. After the owner confirmed directly that the award is real, it was restored, with a note that the source is internal confirmation rather than third-party publication.

- The site moved from WordPress to static PHP. It previously ran on WordPress with around 47 active plugins, and two other WordPress sites shared the same server account — so a security hole in one could spread to the others. The site now uses no plugins at all and touches no database when a page is opened. The page code fell from 196.2 MB to 33.7 MB.
- The shopping basket, checkout and account pages retired. This site is a catalogue, not an online shop — ordering still goes through WhatsApp exactly as before, unchanged.
- Two new index pages opened. /en/produk/ lists 173 products grouped into 12 series, and /glossary/ lists 96 terms grouped into 6 sections. Both sets of pages already existed but had no entrance of their own.
- A sitemap and a founder page added. /en/sitemap/ lists every page on the site in one place, and /en/about/ibrahim-anwar/ introduces the founder of Hibrkraft — two pages that did not exist at all before.
- The “4.8 from 3,779 reviews” rating embedded in every page’s code removed. That figure was invisible to readers but read by search engines — and it had never actually been measured, besides contradicting the 4.9 shown on the page itself. The company data, previously written three different ways within a single page (the residue of three different plugins), was also tidied into one consistent description.
- The /press/ page rewritten. Every mention of media coverage must now genuinely appear in the coverage record we keep. Three outlet names previously named on this page turned out not to be in that record and have been removed.
- Page appearance brought into one design system. Some pages had text as wide as 164 characters a line — far wider than is comfortable to read — ten different corner radii, and stray faces such as Inter and Abril Fatface used nowhere else on the site. All tidied: a standard reading measure, square corners, and the same type throughout.
- Product and workshop photographs restored to their real colour. These had been through a process that rendered them all black and white. The colour of leather is part of the product itself, so the colour was put back.
