Hibrkraft works to order. What you see on this page are books we have made and documented — some from material left over and not enough for a full series, some corporate orders we are allowed to show. It works more like a tailor’s sample book than a shop shelf: it is there to point at. "One like this, but in black leather with ruled pages."

So do not read the list below as the limit of what can be made. Colour, leather, size, paper, page count, name stamping and packaging are all settled when the order is placed, from a single copy upwards. This catalogue answers "what does it look like" and "roughly how much"; the custom notebook page answers "how".

One entry here usually means one book. The exceptions are the 12 entries that hold several variants at once — one name, several leather colours and sizes — and those are gathered separately below with their variant counts. In total, these 105 entries represent 173 books.

A photograph of the finished book is sent before it is packed. We ship throughout Indonesia, and we have also shipped to the UAE, Malaysia, Canada and Germany.

Free within the warranty period, and we cover return shipping if the claim is valid. After the warranty period we can still repair it — at a cost we tell you before we start.

Questions

What we are asked most about the catalogue

Is every book in this catalogue still available?

Not always. This catalogue is an archive of work rather than live stock data — many of the one-off books here were made from a particular offcut and cannot be repeated exactly. What we can always do is remake the form in a material available now. Ask about the book you are pointing at before ordering.

Can I order just one?

You can. There is no minimum order for a personal purchase, and the prices in this catalogue are already per unit. Volume discounts only apply to corporate orders — see Hibrkraft for Business.

Why are so many priced at exactly Rp 100.000?

Because 54 of the 105 entries are the same format: A5, a leather cover, standard writing paper inside. What differs is the colour and the texture of the leather, and that does not change the labour. The price moves when the material changes — hand weave, thick cowhide, or additions such as a pencil and a tie closure.

Are there sizes other than A5?

There are, but not in this catalogue. All 105 entries here are A5 (15 × 21 cm). A6, B5, A4 and non-standard sizes are made to special order — the size guide explains which suits what.

Can a name or a logo be stamped on?

It can, by embossing or foil. For one or two books it is usually an embossed name; for a company order we make a logo die of your own. Examples of corporate work are on corporate gifting.

If an old book of mine is damaged, can it be repaired?

It can, and that is a service of its own — not only for books we made. Rebinding, cover replacement, loose page repair and the restoration of old books are done through book repair.
