Custom leather planners, hand-sewn and printed for your year.

Leather planners for the office, as gifts, or for your own use. You choose the leather, the size and the contents — a calendar for any year, a company letterhead, the tables you use day to day. The cover, the leather and the sewing are exactly the same as our notebooks; only the inside differs.

No minimum order — we will make a single copy. From Rp 45.000 per book, with a lead time of 2–4 weeks.

Where they differ

A planner has dates. A notebook waits for you to fill it.

Notebook, journal, planner, diary and agenda get used interchangeably, when only one thing separates them: how much of the page was settled before you start writing. If you would rather the pages were left blank, that is the territory of the custom leather notebook.

A notebook is entirely blank. A journal is filled in time order, but you write the dates yourself. A planner is printed with the dates, the days and the columns you need before the book is bound. That is why a planner has to be ordered per year, and it is also why a planner takes longer to make than a blank notebook — the inside is printed first, and only then sewn.

Sizes

From pocket-sized to desk-covering

We will make any size, but nearly every order settles on one of the ISO 216 standard sizes — the A series for general use, the B series where more writing area is wanted at the same weight. The two diagrams below use an Rp 5.000 note for comparison, so the size can be pictured without measuring.

The dimensions follow the international ISO 216 standard. A size outside this list can still be made — just give the height and the width.

Contents

Any year, anyone’s letterhead, any table

The contents are printed to order, and there is no year we turn down. If you need a 2027 planner, we print 2027. If you need one for a current year already half gone, we print from the month you ask for. If you do not want dates at all, we make it undated so that it can be started at any time.

What is asked for most:

A full calendar — a page a day, two days to a page, or a week to an opening.
Undated — the day column left blank so the planner does not go stale if it is only started next year.
Letterhead and identity — a logo, a company name, or the user’s name printed at the head of every page.
Working tables — a minutes format, a daily checklist, a visitor log, or a form you already use in the office, reproduced exactly.
Opening pages — owner details, a year calendar, emergency contacts.

Because the contents are printed before binding, changing the format after printing means starting again. So we send you a sample page layout to approve before anything goes near the press.

Materials

Leather and paper

Leather

Full grain is the outermost layer of the hide: the pores and the texture are left as they are, and it is the only leather that develops a patina — a colour that deepens after years of use. Pull up is processed with oil or wax, so the colour lightens at every fold and scratch. Vegtan is vegetable-tanned — cowhide, with tannins from plants. Crazy horse and chrome-tanned are available too. For anyone avoiding animal materials altogether there is plant-based vegan leather: a different material, not a tanned hide. Premium PU remains available on a tight budget — it is plastic, and we do not call it vegan.

Colours held in stock: cognac, dark brown, black, navy blue and a few others. If you have material of your own — leather left over from a project, a corporate colour already fixed — we can work with it.

Paper

Ruled, plain, dotted or grid. The paper is acid-free, which means the pages do not yellow and grow brittle as fast as ordinary printing paper — which matters for a planner kept as a record rather than thrown out every December.

Construction

Sewn, not glued

A factory book has a glued spine, and glue cracks. After a few years — sooner if the planner is often laid open flat on a desk — the pages begin coming away from the spine one by one.

Our planners are sewn with waxed thread through the folded signatures. That sewing holds the text block rather than glue, so the planner opens flat on a desk without forcing its spine, and the pages do not come loose as glue ages. It is also what makes the book repairable decades later; if the cover wears out, the text block is still intact and can be recovered.

Personalisation

Names, logos and private label

A cover can carry a name, initials or a logo — debossed into the leather, or printed on materials that cannot be debossed. For an office order, every book can carry its own user’s name rather than one shared logo for all of them.

We handle private label in full. If you are reselling under your own brand, the planners are made without any Hibrkraft identity and carry your label, cards or packaging. Custom design

When what you have in mind has no shape yet

Some orders begin not from the catalogue but from a sketch. You say what you want — two leather colours, a flap three quarters the width of the cover, a stud rather than an elastic — and the design is drawn first, with its dimensions and materials, for you to approve before anything is cut.

This is what produces a book with no twin, and the cost follows the complexity of the design — there is no separate “custom” tariff. A size not on the standard list goes down the same route; the size guide is a useful starting point.

Questions

The questions we are asked most

Can I order a planner for a year that is already half gone?: You can. We print the contents from whichever month you ask for, so no pages go to waste.
If I only want one, will you still make it?: Yes. There is no minimum order. A single copy is made the same way as an order of five hundred.
How long does it take?: Two to four weeks, counted from your approval of the page layout. A planner takes longer than a blank notebook because the inside has to be printed before it can be bound.
Can we use our own logo and our office table formats?: You can. The logo is printed at the head of every page and debossed on the cover, and a form you already use can be reproduced exactly.
Can each book carry a different person’s name?: It can. For an office order, every cover can carry its own user’s name.
I want to resell under my own brand. Is that allowed?: It is. The planners are made without any Hibrkraft identity, with your brand’s label and packaging. The kind of label is up to you — just say which.
My size is not on the standard list. What then?: Give us the height and the width. The ISO list is only the sizes ordered most often, not a limit.
What if the cover wears out in a few years?: The text block is sewn rather than glued, so it stays intact even once the cover is done for. A book like that can be recovered through our book repair service.

Office planners

Merchandise that does not stop being useful in December

Because it is sewn and uses acid-free paper, last year’s planner is still worth keeping as a record. Once the cover is worn out, the text block can still be recovered. For event packages and year-end gifts, the route is on event and holiday sets.
