A ledger balances. This one does not ask you to. It borrows the shape of one: a page you sit down with at a fixed point in the day, because a day left open just runs into the next one and nothing in it gets looked at properly.
Prompt pages ask a short set of evening questions. Gratitude pages sit apart from them, asking for what actually was good that day rather than what should have been. Plain ruled pages take whatever the evening questions leave out, and a weekly reflection section sits further back for the longer look.
Nobody balances a life against a ledger and comes out even. This one only asks you to write down what happened before you forget you had a day at all.
