Corporate Gifting

Client Appreciation: When Every Unit Carries Its Recipient’s Name

For gifts carrying each recipient’s own name rather than only a company logo. This page explains how the list of names changes the schedule — when it has to be final, and what follows if it changes afterwards.

  • 6 steps back from the event date
  • Names lock the schedule, not quantity
  • Rp 350.000 base price for a journal

A logo is made once for the whole order. A name is made once for one person — and that is what makes the list of names, rather than the number of units, the variable that governs the schedule.

The list, not the quantity

Why the list of names governs, not the quantity

A company logo is made from a single die used again and again across every unit — adding units simply means using the same die. A recipient’s name does not work that way: each name is its own piece of finishing work, done once the spelling of that name has been confirmed. So on a named gift the deadline that actually binds is not the production date but the date the list of names is locked.

Base prices and the volume discount structure for orders above 100 units are on the Bulk & White Label page. The table below is the base pricing specific to appreciation gift products.

Schedule

Counting backwards from the handover date

Almost every gift order that goes wrong goes wrong for the same reason: it was counted forwards from the order date rather than backwards from the handover. The right sequence starts at the end.

  1. The event date

The zero point, and it cannot be moved.

  2. Shipping

Within the city is shorter than between islands; both take longer in the run-up to the holidays.

  3. Finishing and packing

Per-name personalisation adds time here, not in production.

  4. Production

Depends on the quantity and the kind of marking.

  5. Sample approval

The stage that slips most often, because it waits on a decision rather than on work.

  6. The final list of names

This is the real deadline — past this point the list counts as locked.

A list that changes three days before dispatch means a unit already marked can no longer be used for that new name. That is not a production delay — it is work that has to be started again from the beginning for one unit. Read the sequence above backwards: begin at the event date and stop at the date the list of names is locked.

The single decision

The sender’s logo, or the recipient’s name?

This is the single decision that most governs how a gift is received, and it has to be made before production because it changes how the work is done.

The middle way, often used: a small logo on the back cover or inside, and the recipient’s name on the front. The gift still reads as personal, and the sender is still identifiable. The marking techniques are set out on logo and branding options.

What it means for stock

Why spare units matter particularly here

Logo-marked goods can be held as stock because they are not tied to one person — an extra unit can be taken whenever the die still exists. A named object cannot be made before the person is known, so there is no "stock" of names to prepare in advance. The common practice: keep a few plain or logo-only units in reserve for recipients who appear at short notice, then add the name later if there is still time.

The figures above are base prices; the final total depends on the combination of material, personalisation and packaging chosen. Send us your requirement and we reply with a written breakdown.

The moment of giving

When an appreciation gift actually works

When a gift is handed over changes its meaning more than what is inside it. The same gift can read as thoughtfulness or as obligation, depending on when it arrives.

From our clients

What people say after receiving it

“Honestly, the response from our clients was extraordinary. They genuinely felt valued, rather than simply receiving another ordinary ‘corporate gift’. The quality and the personal touch made an enormous difference.”

Frequently asked

The questions we are asked most

Can every unit carry a different name?

It can. What has to be ready is a final list with the spellings confirmed, because marking on leather is permanent and cannot be corrected once it has been done.

What is the minimum order?

There is no lower limit on the order itself. What changes at a small quantity is the logo die setup charge, because the die is cut once regardless of how many units use it. Base prices per product are in the table above; the structure for large orders is on Bulk & White Label.

What if the list of recipients grows at short notice?

For a logo-marked gift, extra units can be made with the existing die. For a named gift every addition is fresh work with its own timing — which is why spare units are best prepared from the outset.

Is packaging included in the base price?

Standard packaging is included. Premium box options and other finishes are on packaging customisation.

How can we be sure our logo will look good on leather?

We always provide a digital proof showing how the logo and the name will appear on the finished product before production begins — for a long list of names this is sent per batch rather than per unit.

Is there any example of previous work?

There is, on case studies and testimonials — including work for institutions named by permission.

First step

Send the list of names and the deadline

A client appreciation gift fails for two reasons: it arrives late, or it looks like promotional merchandise — both of which are questions of timing and marking rather than of budget. Tell us how many recipients there are, whether the list of names is final, and when it has to be ready.
