Twenty pages of it, so next year's statement has something to be checked against rather than trusted on its own.
Twenty-four finance pages carry the arithmetic that is actually yours to do: what you put in this year against last year, across however many schemes you are paying into. There is no projected balance printed anywhere in this book, no assumed rate of growth, and no fund named or recommended. Those figures belong with a qualified adviser, not with a notebook, and the page is left blank rather than guessed at.
Three goal pages hold what retirement is actually meant to fund, in your own words rather than a percentage. Twenty lined pages at 7.14 mm pitch follow for whatever the columns and the goals leave out: a statement that arrived wrong, a scheme that changed its terms, a question to raise at next year's review.
