The book opens with eight day-book pages, four columns ruled across each one: Batch, Date, Output, Yield. A week of batches summarised on four columns is a week somebody can read back in a minute, instead of hunting through loose paper for the one that went wrong.
Forty-eight job-card pages follow, one card to a batch, recording input, output, yield and the operator who ran it. A batch that comes out short is a batch you can trace to a card, not a guess.
Twelve college-ruled notes pages finish the book. It does not print your yield target or your batch acceptance figure. Those are set by the process you run, and they are yours to define, not the book's. The day book gives you a column for the actual number.
