It will not tell you the manasik. Those come from a teacher, a guide, or the school you follow, and they are not something a printed notebook should be handing out as though one version fits everyone who opens it.
What it holds instead is room for your own record of the trip: where you stayed, who you travelled with, what happened at each stage as you went through it. Ruled pages behind that hold whatever a day's entry runs past, or a note worth coming back to once you are home and the trip has settled into memory.
A pilgrimage has its own delays and its own hard mornings before any of it feels like what you had pictured. The book only asks you to write those down too, not just the parts worth telling people afterward.

Questions
Does it explain how to perform Hajj or Umrah?
No. That belongs to a teacher or a guide, not a printed notebook.
Is it dated?
No. Start it when your trip starts.
What do the main pages hold?
Your own record of each stage: where you were, who you were with, what happened.
Is there room for names and contacts?
The ruled notes pages will hold them; there is no dedicated field for it.
Can it be used for either Hajj or Umrah?
Yes. Nothing in the layout assumes which one you are on.
Every harbor on the sea-coast, also, has its bar at its entrance.
