Eight pages carry a four-column ledger: date, what for, cash, card. It exists because a shoebox of receipts at the end of a trip tells you less than eight pages filled in as the spending happened, one line at a time.
Thirty-six prompt pages sit behind the ledger, one travel question at the top of each page and the rest left for the answer. Seventy-eight pages of college-ruled notes follow those, for a place, a name, or a detail that does not fit a ledger column or answer a prompt.
The ledger does not total itself, and neither does the trip. Both get added up by hand, later, by whoever is willing to sit down and do it.

Questions
What are the four ledger columns?
Date, what for, cash, card.
How many prompt questions does it offer at once?
One per page, not a list to choose from.
Does the ledger total the spending automatically?
No. Every figure is written and added by hand.
Is it dated?
No. Start it on any trip, on any day.
Does it come with a cover?
No. It is the sewn block, sized for a leather cover made separately.
The voyage was otherwise not a pleasant one, as we had a great deal of bad weather.
