Monday starts on the left page and Sunday ends on the right, the whole week open at once rather than turned one day at a time. A hundred and six pages hold that shape across the year, two to a week, with no columns printed into them and no headings beyond the day names.
Twenty-four month pages come before the weeks, two to a month instead of one, giving a busy stretch room to be written in before it becomes the week it actually happens in. Nineteen lined pages close the diary for a list, a plan, or a name and number that did not belong to any one week.
It carries no fixed columns, because scheduling does not sit still long enough to earn one. A court date, a delivery slot and a dinner reservation are the same width of line here, which is the whole point of leaving it blank rather than ruled into boxes.
