The lattice is 5.00 mm exactly, thirty-six rows down the page, printed as vector geometry rather than a tiled image. Dots guide without boxing anything in. Nothing on the page is committed to prose or to a grid until you commit it.

The pitch is the specification, so it is printed here rather than left for the parcel to reveal. Dot weight is 0.4 pt, fine enough to sit under handwriting instead of competing with it.

Because every dot is drawn as geometry rather than tiled from a bitmap, the page holds its edge at any magnification. It also keeps the file small, which matters more than it sounds like it should.
