"Wide ruled" is a phrase everyone uses on a school-supply list and almost nobody attaches a number to. It means 11/32 inch, 8.73 mm, and it is the most open of the three standard American rulings, ahead of college and narrow. Nineteen lines fit down an A5 page at that pitch.
