The second night home, you cannot remember if the last feed was two hours ago or four. Nobody hands you a form for this; you are meant to keep it in your head at the exact hour your head is least reliable.
Each day gets one page, undated, so the book does not care which week it starts in. What goes on it is entirely yours to decide: feeds, sleep, a mood, a word from the health visitor worth keeping. Notes pages sit behind the daily run for whatever a single page could not hold that day.
It prints no chart of when anything is supposed to happen, because there is no such chart that fits every baby. What it gives you is somewhere to put down what did happen, on the day it happened, before the next day replaces it.

Does it track milestones?
No. It carries no chart of when a baby is supposed to do anything, because babies do not run on one chart.
