You finish Friday and you do not want to hunt for Monday's page in a diary built for appointments. Every week here opens across two facing pages, Monday to Sunday laid flat at once, so you can see a whole week of lessons and move them around before a single class starts.

Ahead of the weekly spreads sit twelve month pages, for the parent evening or the inset day you need to see three weeks out rather than find by flipping forward one week at a time. Thirty-two lined pages, college pitch, follow the year for whatever a week-view page has no room for: a scheme of work, a seating plan redrawn twice, a note to a head of department.

It carries no named columns of its own. A week laid open blank is a week you rule for whatever that term actually needs, which changes from one term to the next and was never the same shape twice.
