Is this programme for you?

This programme is for sellers who already have an online shop, a marketplace account, or a pop-up market stall, and want to add handmade leather goods to the catalogue. You buy at reseller prices, hold the stock, and decide your own selling price and how to market it.

If you would rather not hold stock at all, and only want commission on referrals, that is the affiliate programme, not this one — the difference lies in stock and capital, not in how much you can earn. The other routes are on the programmes page.

Three routes

Wholesale, dropship, or private label

What separates the three is not the margin, but who holds the stock and carries the risk.

Wholesale. Buy a set quantity at a special price, then sell at your own price and in your own way. The highest capital and the highest margin, with full control.

Dropship. You concentrate on selling; we ship straight to the buyer in your name. No capital tied up in stock, and the smallest margin and least control.

Private label. We make it, you hold the brand — embossed logo, bespoke packaging. Capital and margin in the middle, plus responsibility for the brand.

Dropship is the route beginners choose most often and the hardest to sustain: with no stock, nothing distinguishes your shop from any other selling the same goods, except the way you explain them — and the material for that is in the starter kit and resources.

Scope

Territory and sales channels

This programme adds products to a channel that is already running; it does not create one. You need a shop, a marketplace account, or a pop-up market before you apply.

Exclusive territory is discussed case by case and calls for a volume commitment, because exclusivity closes that territory to other sellers. Per-unit pricing, MOQ and payment stages are all in one place: bulk order & white label — this page does not repeat them.

Before you apply

What to have ready

These three things decide how quickly you can start selling once you have joined.

  1. A clear route

Wholesale, dropship or private label — chosen at the start, because it sets both the price and the way things ship.

  2. Readiness to explain the product

Photographs and a catalogue are provided; the sentences that convince a buyer are still your job. The material is in the starter kit and resources.

  3. A volume estimate

For wholesale, this sets the price. For dropship, it sets your priority in the queue.

Quick questions

The most frequently asked

Can I use Hibrkraft's photographs?

For the wholesale and dropship routes, yes. For private label the photographs have to be new, because the product carries your brand.

What if a faulty item reaches my buyer?

It gets replaced. And because these books are sewn, some damage can be repaired rather than thrown away — see book repair.

Honest up front

This programme is not for everyone

Sellers chasing the fastest margin are almost always disappointed here. A handmade leather journal is not a high-turnover item, and competing on price against mass imports is a fight no workshop can win.

The ones who last are sellers whose audience already values something made by hand, and who are willing to explain why a book is sewn rather than glued — the whole glossary on this site is written so that explanation can be quoted. Hear it from resellers already running, in the case studies.
