Labour Fairness at Hibrkraft
Our products are born from skilled hands, and we believe those hands deserve respect, fairness, and the chance to grow.
This is our promise to the soul of our workshop: our team.
Meet Our Team
Professionalism and Artistry, Side by Side
At Hibrkraft we are a professional workplace. We believe an environment that is structured, fair and mutually respectful is the best foundation for creativity and artistry to develop. The two are not in conflict; professionalism is the vessel that allows art to be made with focus and with calm.
We remember a day when we were handing over wages to one of our team, and her daughter said, “Brilliant, Mum's got paid.” That moment was more than a transaction. It was a reminder of what we are for: to create dignified work that not only produces beautiful things, but brings happiness and stability to our team's families.

Our Commitments to the Team
A Supportive Working Environment
We put the 5S culture (Senyum, Sapa, Salam, Sopan, Santun — smile, greet, a greeting, polite, courteous) at the base of every daily interaction. We believe a positive environment makes everyone happier, more focused and more productive.
Fair Compensation, and More
We hold to a fair standard of pay, including for part-time members of the team. Bonuses and additional compensation are given periodically, in appreciation of hard work and dedication.
Work and Life in Balance
We value rest. There is a firm rule in our workshop: no work is done after 8pm, however heavy that day's load has been.
Inclusive Opportunity
We deliberately open the door to those who might otherwise be passed over, offering opportunity on the basis of potential and commitment rather than background.
Support to Grow
We encourage every member of the team to build their skills. If one day they find a better opportunity elsewhere, we will be glad for them. No job is irreplaceable, and the growth of any individual is a success.
The Challenge, Honestly
Our greatest difficulty is that we cannot offer an opportunity to everyone, and that saddens us. Even so, we remain committed to making the most positive impact we can with the resources we have.
Common Questions About Employment
How does Hibrkraft define ‘fair pay’?
Fair pay, for us, is more than the regional minimum wage. We take into account each team member's level of skill, their experience and their contribution. We also give bonuses and other compensation regularly, in recognition of outstanding work.
Does Hibrkraft provide training for its staff?
Yes. We actively encourage the building of skills. That might be internal training from a senior artisan, or the chance to learn a new technique. We believe investing in the team's skill is investing in the quality of our products.
What is Hibrkraft's policy on overtime?
We work hard to plan production so that overtime is not needed. Where a situation is urgent, overtime is voluntary and is always compensated in line with the applicable regulations. Our main rule still stands: no work after 8pm.
What does ‘a supportive working environment’ mean in practice?
It means we create a workplace free of discrimination and harassment, practise open communication, and understand the personal needs of the team (flexibility for a mother with young children, for instance). The 5S culture (Senyum, Sapa, Salam, Sopan, Santun — smile, greet, a greeting, polite, courteous) is the foundation of all our interactions.
