The Hibrkraft Lifetime Warranty
We do not only make journals, we are building a legacy. This warranty is our promise that every Hibrkraft piece is made to accompany you through life, for good.

A Promise Bound in Thread and Metal
We believe a journal is an artefact. It ought to outlast its owner. So we give a lifetime warranty on the two pillars of everything we make: the hand stitching that holds the pages together, and the hardware that keeps it closed. That is our promise to you.
What We Guarantee
This warranty covers manufacturing defects and structural failures that come from our own workmanship, not from everyday use.
- Stitching Failure: If the hand stitching on your book comes loose or breaks because of a binding error, we will repair it at no charge.
- Faulty Hardware: If a button, buckle or other metal fitting fails because of a defect in the material or the fitting, we will repair or replace it.
What Becomes Part of Your Story
This warranty does not cover the marks that become part of your journal's own journey.
- Natural Ageing: Scratches, scuffs and the shift in colour (patina) of the leather are signs that your journal has lived alongside you. They are part of its beauty.
- Damage in Use: Damage from liquids, ink stains, tearing, drops, or modifications you make yourself is not covered.
- Deliberate Damage: Any damage made on purpose for aesthetic effect is part of your own creative expression, and we do not cover it.
The Warranty Claim Process
1. Contact Us
Email legal@hibrkraft.com with the subject “Warranty Claim”, and include your order number along with clear photographs or video of the damage.
2. Assessment by the Team
Our team will assess your claim within 3-5 working days. If the claim is approved, we will send you instructions for returning the product to our workshop.
3. Repair or Replacement
We will repair the damage free of charge. If the damage occurs within the first 30 days and is shown to be a manufacturing error, we will replace it with a new product.
Common Questions About the Warranty
What does ‘lifetime warranty’ mean?
A lifetime warranty means we guarantee the core function of the product's stitching and hardware for as long as the product exists. It does not mean the product is immune to ageing or to damage from use; it is a promise that we will stand behind the foundations of the craft. Replacement with a new product: you are entitled to a new product if a claim is approved for a fatal manufacturing defect (a serious binding error, for example) reported within the first 30 days of purchase.
Free Repair: For claims approved after 30 days, we will carry out a professional repair on the damaged part (stitching or hardware) at no charge.
Do I have to pay shipping for a warranty claim?
You are responsible for the cost of sending the product to our workshop. Once the repair is finished, we cover the cost of shipping it back to you.
