This Journal Does Not Belong to a Customer. This Is a Family Photograph.
Sometimes a photograph is heavier than it looks. On the surface this is a beautiful composition. Two Hibrkraft journals, sitting side by side like two siblings, accompanied by a cup of coffee from a local Bogor brand we respect, Coffee Combi. But this is not merely a product photograph.
It is a family photograph. And the story behind it is the story of Hibrkraft’s own foundation.
The Second Pair of Hands, the Second Pair of Feet
The person behind this photograph is Kendy Danang (@kendydanangp). Their name may not be on the logo, but their DNA is in every stitch we make. They are Hibrkraft’s other co-founder. The second pair of hands. The second pair of feet. A comrade in the same struggle.
They were the one soaked through beside me while the two of us hunted for material in the rain. They were the one who walked confidently into company offices to offer what we had. They were the one who was there when Hibrkraft held more dreams than orders.
Two Journals, Two Pillars
Seeing these two journals side by side, I feel like it is a perfect symbol. One black, one brown. Different, but born of the same womb. They stand for the two pillars that built this house from nothing. They are the evidence of a partnership.
Even after we were no longer together, they still took a photograph as beautiful as this. A silent tribute to what we once built together. This is not about promoting a brand. It is about honouring a journey.
Every journal of ours is sewn with thread. But Hibrkraft itself was sewn with sweat, with dreams, and with journeys made soaked through in the rain.
When you hold a journal from us, you are not only holding a product. You are holding a story about friendship. You are holding the footsteps of two young people from Bogor who believed they could make something meaningful with their own hands.
Thank you, Kendy. For every kilometre, every drop of rain, every “come on, we can do this.” The foundation we built together still stands firm.
