Not every day needs a full page. A diary that hands out the same amount of paper to a quiet Tuesday as it does to the day everything happened is carrying paper it does not use. This one splits the page instead, one half for each of two calendar days running one after the other.

Each spread carries a run of dates through the year, split evenly, with lined notes pages behind it for the weeks that outgrow the split. A month view and a year view carry the wider look, the way any dated diary needs to.

It suits someone recording rather than scheduling: what happened, not what is booked. Anyone stacking three or four appointments into a single day should look elsewhere. Two days share the page here, and some weeks that is still more room than either one needed.
