Rules & Policy

Make the Journal You Have in Mind

At Hibrkraft we are not simply a manufacturer; we are a partner in the making. We invite you to collaborate on designing a journal or planner that is genuinely your own, reflecting your story, your identity and your vision.

Let us create something remarkable together. The possibilities are open.

Our Creative Collaboration Process

We believe an outstanding custom product comes from deep conversation and close collaboration. These are the steps we will take together to realise your vision:

1. Consultation & Ideation

Share your idea — a specific journal concept, the material you want (genuine leather, something exotic such as crocodile, or even a material you supply yourself), an unusual shape, or a deep personalisation need. We listen closely, offer suggestions, and make sure we understand your vision fully. If you have a minimum order requirement, or a complex customisation need (a bespoke internal layout, or a large quantity above 50 pcs, for instance), we are ready to discuss it.

2. Proposal & Quotation

Once we understand what you need, our team will put together a detailed proposal covering the design, the choice of material, an estimate of the production time, and a transparent price. For a large or highly complex order we may first make a prototype, or a digital proof of the design.

3. Agreement & Confirmation

When you are happy with the proposal and the quotation, we move on to a formal agreement. This covers intellectual property licensing (where a new design has been created together), the payment schedule (a deposit to begin production, for example), and the commitment on timing.

4. Making

Once every detail is agreed and the initial payment received, our artisans begin making your custom journal by hand, to the Hibrkraft standard of quality.

5. Shipping

When it is finished and has passed a final quality inspection, your product is packed securely and sent through our logistics partner. We will provide the tracking information.

6. A Long-Term Partnership

We are open to discussing a long-term partnership, or a business model such as white-labelling, provided there is shared understanding on ethics, quality and transparency.

We are especially glad to collaborate with:

  • Brands That Value Handmade Craft
  • Event Organisers Wanting a Premium Keepsake
  • Companies That Put the Quality of Their Identity First

If you have a challenging project idea, an unusual material you would like to explore, or a vision you want realised, do get in touch. We are ready to talk it through.

Common Questions About Custom Projects

Is there a minimum order for custom products?

There is no rigid minimum order for custom products. We take orders from individuals and from companies, from a single unit to thousands. For a large quantity (above 50 pcs), or one that needs a physical prototype, a more detailed approval process applies.

Who holds the copyright on a custom design we create together?

Copyright in a design you supply entirely remains yours. For a design we develop together, or through the Hibrkraft creative process, we usually ask for a non-exclusive licence to show the finished product (not the design details or the prototype) in our portfolio, as part of our own story. The specifics of intellectual property ownership are set out in the custom agreement itself.

How long does a custom product take to make?

Production time varies with the complexity of the design, the availability of materials, and the volume of work already in hand. We always try to give an accurate estimate at the first consultation. Prototyping and approval also affect the total.

Can I supply my own material?

We are open to discussing material you supply, particularly where it carries sentimental value or suits your vision especially well. We will assess whether that material is suitable for our craft process before agreeing to it.

What if I want a non-standard shape or structure?

This is the part we enjoy most. We like a creative challenge. If you have an idea for an unusual shape, a different structure, or would like to try an exotic material, please tell us. We are keen to explore new ideas with you.

READY TO REALISE YOUR IDEA?

Let us talk through your vision, and help turn it into something real. We look forward to hearing your ideas.
