The Best Listener Never Speaks
Sometimes the most powerful testimonial is not praise. Not words like “good” or “cool.” The most powerful testimonial is an honest admission. A whisper from the heart. And this one, from Titiq (@titiqmriyah), is among the most powerful we have ever received.
They were not reviewing a product. They were confiding. They were looking for somewhere safe.
Ceritanya sama buku ajalah, Setidaknya dia memang benda mati yang gk akan bisa kasih respon apa yg diceritakan.
Tell it to a book instead — at least a book is an inert thing that cannot answer back. I feel like that sentence goes straight to the heart of why we exist. In a noisy world where everyone has an opinion and a response, sometimes what we need most is an empty space. A listener that stays silent.
The Most Alive of Inert Things
Strange, is it not, that they call it an “inert thing”. And yet at the same time they give it the most alive role of all: a friend that can be trusted. A safe for thoughts and feelings that will never leak.
This journal, in their hands, is no longer merely leather and paper. It is a keeper of secrets. A silent witness. It is evidence that emotional safety can sometimes be found in an object made with good intent.

And the Story Does Not End There
But here is the best part of this story. The part that still gives us goosebumps.
The person who found relief in the silence of our journal, Titiq, is now part of the Hibrkraft team. They no longer only tell things to the book. They now help make that book for other people.
They moved from looking for a safe space to helping build one. I reckon there is no higher testimonial than that. When someone is so connected to the essence of what you make that they decide to join your mission.
This story is a constant reminder to us. That we do not only sew leather. We are building a shelter. And the best people to help us build it are those who know exactly what it feels like to need one.
Need somewhere to talk without being judged? Your friend may be here.
