Work Tools Do Not Have to Be Boring
There is a polite smile. There is also a catching one. A smile so genuine that you feel it yourself. This photograph from Linda Prasetyo (@lindaprasetyo) is a perfect example of the second. It is not merely a product photograph. It is a portrait of happiness.
Look at the energy in this photograph. Linda is not only holding a journal. They are proudly introducing it to the world. As if to say, “Look! This is me!”
A Rebellion in Teal and Red
In a professional setting—we can see the office bookshelf and the lanyard around their neck—many people would choose the ‘safe’ working tool. Corporate black. A calm brown. But not Linda. They chose a bright teal with a strap in blazing red.
I feel like that choice of colour is a small and beautiful rebellion. A refusal of the idea that professionalism has to be rigid and boring. This journal is not only something to write with; it is a statement. An accessory as important as the watch or the glasses they wear.

Bringing a Personality to the Desk
And this is what we believe at Hibrkraft. You spend a third of your life at work. The tools that keep you company every day should not only be functional. They should be an extension of who you are. They should be able to carry a little spark of your personality to the desk.
This journal, in its bold colour, is a bulwark against the boredom of meetings and stacks of documents. It is a reminder that behind every post and every title there is an individual full of colour.
Professionalism does not have to mean boring. It can be full of colour. It can be full of smiles.
Seeing Linda’s smile is the greatest validation there is for us. It is evidence that a handmade notebook can bring a little happiness into someone’s working day. And is that not the point of all of it?
