Kami membuatnya karena nyaris tidak ada bahan berbahasa Indonesia tentang kerajinan ini yang bisa dibaca bebas siapa saja, jadi kami kumpulkan yang tersedia dalam bahasa lain dan menyertakan sumber lengkap pada setiap gambar.
Semua gambar berasal dari transkripsi EPUB Project Gutenberg, dan setiap buku sumbernya sudah menjadi milik publik di Amerika Serikat — ilustrasinya digunting sendiri oleh tangan relawan Project Gutenberg dari halaman aslinya, jadi keterangan di bawah tiap gambar adalah salinan naskah cetak, bukan tebakan mesin OCR. Keterangan itu kami tampilkan persis seperti tercetak; untuk yang berbahasa Jerman atau Prancis, terjemahan dalam kurung siku adalah tambahan kami sendiri. Tidak ada satu pun gambar di halaman ini yang kami buat.
